Differences between hotsides

So I've got two 16g turbos sitting in front of me, one is a small 16g with a hotside that says "A/R .70 XSPOWER" on it with a ported o2 housing, and the other is a big 16g with stock hotside and stock o2 housing (i believe). What would be the best combo of these turbos? Big 16g with the xspower hotside and ported o2 housing? Is xspower a trusted brand?

Those are just false writings, what you have there is "just" a ebay knockoff small 16g. xspower is ebay knockoff brand that has goods and bads, but is bad in all aspects when compared to a "real" turbo. If your were to compare both, the big 16g will have the bigger exhaust housing, the small will have the smaller, the big 16g will make more power, not much though, and many say the small 16g has a better spool to power ratio.

The difference between those turbos is quality. XS is an eBay company who is known for their low price and poor quality product. The big 16G (assuming its a MHI) is far superior in quality and durability. Dont compromise reliability and go with the big 16g.

Well i'm sure its an MHI, but how would I double check it. I talked ot the old owner he told me he just swapped out the hotsides on the small 16g because the old wastegate flapper was welded shut.
