walbro rewire

Hey guys, I know their are a few threads/posts about walbro 255 rewires, but i can't seem to find one with enough information for my 1g. If anybody could tell me where that would be that'd be great. Also, I was wondering if rewiring my pump to the ignition would allow the pump to build pressure resulting in a quicker start? Thanks!

I was wondering if rewiring my pump to the ignition would allow the pump to build pressure resulting in a quicker start?

It will help you burn down the car faster in an accident. The factory design turns off the fuel pump if the engine stops turning. The rewire maintains this function while eliminating the voltage drop from the little factory wires.

If you fuel system doesn't come up to pressure right away when the pump is activated during cranking you have a problem with the system not with how it is turned on.

There is nothing about rewiring the fuel pump that is Walbro specific except with fuse you can use since the typical Walbro draws less current than a equal sized Denso.
