Walbro Fuel Pump ?

Just wondering if the Walbro fuel for the 4g63 is the same fuel pump and part number for the 420a?

A fuel pump is a fuel pump. It's aftermarket and not a literal drop-in replacement for most [if not all all] applications.

I found a tutorial on 2gnt.com yesterday your right not to hard, but I want a clear answer are the walbro part number the same for the 420a and the 4g63?

I realize a "fuel pump is a fuel pump" but chysler makes the 420a, mitsu/4g63 and there is alot of differences between the 2 cars.

I did some research they are the same, at least the walbro pumps are.

ALL 2G cars use the GSS342 pump if its a 255lph. If its a 190lph pump, the number shall be GSS250. The install kit that comes with the pump needs to be 400-847.
There are two 255lph pumps- 341, and 342. The difference in this number is that the 342 has the inlet and outlet on the same plane- this is used on the 1G FWD and 2G FWD/AWD cars, and on the 341 pump, the inlet is offset from the outlet.

Just make sure you get the right inlet side, Center, Offset, Inline, with the feed it could cause a hassle or some fab work.
