Ok, first off I did a search and couldnt find any of these two linked together and I had a question about it. I am going to be getting a walbro 255 in my car very soon. The question I have is " If I have 550cc Injectors, and a wally 255, will it overpower my stock FPR?"
Any info is welcomed, and like I said I did a search and couldnt come up with anything, so if you find some info please point me towards that.
Thanks,
-Dan

you just need Link. Both are two different management systems that replace the stock ECU. You can only run one at a time.

Or...you could just read this: Tech Guide: 2G 4G63t Upgrades - DSMtuners

The only thing I would do different is get ECMLink before anything else, once the maintenance is all up to date.

Thanks, I didn't even see it.

It probably seems obvious to you, but for me there's like 500,000 threads here and I can only read one thing at a time.

BUT as you can see I've been pretty busy !

I have taken it upon myself to translate this post for you all. :thumb:

What he really meant to say was:

i never said that and yes i did get 460 miles to a tank when i took a 6 hour interstate trip with me running 10 pounds of boost granny driving so yes it is possible and i know i have a wally 255 because i put it in myself at work every car is different

yo ushould know that

i think you guys just solved my problem. you guys are the absolute best!!!!!!
i have walbro 255 pump, just confirmed that today and a stock fpr. car runs terrable from idle to 3000 rpm. but can anyone explain why i have to turn my SAFC up to +%35 just to get the car to idle right? i have 550cc injectors. i know im new and probably way off topic or out of line somewhere but this car has been driving me crazy. getting a afpr as we speak and will report back. but that still doesnt explain why i have to run my safc up so hi. i should be in the negatives, correct?

The only time you will overrun the regulator is if you rewire the pump . I ran a Toyota supra fuel pump for awhile with 950 injectors with no problems but when i rewired the pump it was a different story .
