Vrsf intercooler install question..

got everything ready to install core is mounted ran into two problems.. My overflow bottle no longer fits. any solutions to this? or is there a smaller one i can buy on ebay or something for cheap that will still let me use the sensor? second problem my open o2 dump hits the lower intercooler pipe, worried this will either damage the pipe or coupler from the heat and the fact that i wont be able to hook it up with them hitting each other. it comes in contact with the very bottom of the o2 dump pipes.... Dont wanna go back to the stock o2 housing, any solutions? thanks guys.

Yes I removed those inserts the core is rather large so to make it fit you will need to trim quite a bit of your bumper opening out. I didn't have any jpipe issues though, you could have gotten a defective one.

that looks clean mine is sliver just worried when removing them it will look like shit with the silver paint missing... what did you use to remove them cutting wheel?

Would i have to trim A LOT of my bumper reinforcement to run this setup??

1) get an evo 8 one there smaller

2) get a piece of thin mild steel and 2 tbolt clamps and clamp that to where the dump touches the aluminum licp

3) good luck I did all of this on my talon in my avatar and worked mint.

5) I also am a floor layer by trade and when I cut my front bumper I used a utility knife with a hook blade in it and it cut like butter!

my 1g kit fit great with only cutting of the radiator support bracket. idk y this one is such a pita. i will take pics of the o2 dump and then see what suggestions are suggested like i said the j pipe angles to the block which is complete opposite of my 1g kit. also with the nipple facing the block for mbc is opposite of my 1g kit. yes in my 1g i had to cut the crash beam no big deal had to do this as well to my 2g no biggie.

I mounted my coolant bottle, and horn behind the bumper on the passenger side. Just had to extend the hose.. Wires were long enough.

Pics of the jpipe. On my 1g the nipple is more facing the camera straight on. This positioning on my 2g makes for a hard task putting the line on. Also the bend of the pipe my 1g bends straight with the radiator the one seems to bend inward. Anyone have a pic of the vrsf jpipe for a 2g? Same looking?

Pics of the o2 dump... I'm not sure y it is posting them sideways.

Any input?
