but $180 is way too much for two pieces and bolts...maybe someone who has an access to vr4 calipers could copy their design with less expensive
solution..? vr4 calipers + Porterfield pads would be as good if not better than some Big Brake kits sold for $1000+ !

I have yet to see 3000GT VR4 brakes fit. I have only seen the SL brakes work, and they are bolt on, granted you take the bracket off the gt

Is there a specific reason why VR-4 brakes wont fit on a 2G

Also what are the specs on the SL brakes are they dual caliper and bigger rotors than a GST

from what i know, the calipers are too wide. the SLs are b igger as far as the DSMs are consernd

The 3000GT SL brakes are the same as 92+ AWD DSM brakes.

Looking at the plan it's not a bad one. Assuming it fits, and one would hope they do if being sold as such.

The only rub in it might come from the cost of the calipers. Can't find too many at the junkyard and while they can be purchased from the parts store they carry a stiff core charge. The $125 caliper and a $100 core charge per for example makes that a pretty pricey part.

Unless you find some cores to turn in....

And $180? Not really that bad for what was done to make them and considering a batch run to do them. And some profit for it would be nice too. For a plug n play, saving half of that won't make it worthwhile.

What rotors would be used on our cars with those calipers and brackets? Would the 3/S turbo rotors fit properly? Maybe Todd can set up a nice set to work with the calipers/brackets.

Just let me know what the specs are of the rotor (stock) you are using are and I'm sure some of my parts can be accomodating.

Better cooling, less weight, more options.

The VR 4 calipers wont fit, only the SL will I tried it and it doesnt.....even with those 180 spacers..... im gonna find a way to get those calipers on tho.... keep an eye out for a thread

i thought they only fit the 1g T/E/L with the VR4 calipers.
