vin location

sup everyone, really quick question does anyone know where the vin is located on the motor. My motor has been swapped an im tryin to figure what car its from an if its a 7 bolt motor. A friend says its from a hyundai sonata turbo? I never heard of that but it would make sense since it does say hyundai on the valve cover Thanks in advance

Underneath the exhaust manifold, stamped into the block is where it will tell you what engine you have..I don't have a pic, sorry..

Someone cracked your valve cover and replaced it with a Hyundai one. They don't have turbo motors, yet. Replace your friend, that one's too dumb. And, the VIN isn't on the engine.

The engine code is...On old vehicles the engine was how you got a title, but that's not true anymore. I had it wrong defiant, my bad...
