Hi, I bought a Eagle Talon TSI AWD 91 and i am going to rebuild the engine and the car also, i am trying to find the Vin number engraved on the chassi but i only found the small stickers that are located in several parts of the car, the big sticker that is located on the left door , the sticker on the firewall, on the dash and in the engine block, can someone confirm if this model have some number engraved on the chassi like my Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 1g 92 have (in my Eclipse is located on the right part of the firewall), if it exists on the Eagle, please tell me, thanks for your help ;)

Block will have the vin

Yes, i know, i have confirmed already, like i said.
Here in Portugal , all the cars have a Vin number engraved on the chassis but i only find the stickers, on the Block and the dash Vin number, i need to confirm this because when my car is ready i will have to go to a inspection and they will ask for the Vin Number (my car was imported from Canada in 1996 and i bought it this month with a damaged engine), if you have a Eagle Talon TSI 91 can you please confirm if something is engraved on the Firewall like my 1G Eclipse have?? thanks for your help ;)

Since the car was built in the US at the Normal, IL plant, US and Canadian vehicles never got the VIN (or chassis) number stamped on the firewall like the imports did.

Only thing close to chassis would be the VIN that is mounted on the plate in the front corner of the dash.

You must have a special import version of the Mitsu (does it have amber rear turn signal lenses?) that required the chassis (VIN) number stamping on the firewall.

Thanks for your answer, that's what i need to know :thumb:
Yes, my Mitsubishi Eclipse have amber rear turn signal lenses, it was imported from Germany, European laws may be different and require the chassis (VIN) number stamping on the firewall, thanks for your help :) :)
