It varies from state to state, in Missouri the law reads something like "automobile must have at least two visible red lights visible from 400ft away". So in my case it isn't, as long as you can see the red light when the lights are on. There is no federal law, so check your local PD.

Hey i don't know if you remember my car from the WA/OR meet part IV but it was the white 2g next to Tom's, and i have tinted tails. I dunno fi you remember but they look really good on my car and i'd imagine with that blue it would look good if you tinted the windows.

Hey guys,
I have Altezza's and hate the middle piece!
I'm definetly painting it this weekend, but I need to know What Kinda Paint would it be the Best to Use (And Where to Get it), How many coats to make it look perfect, etc....

Any help will be appreciated!
I've seen a Thread about this but I'd like some specific help!

Thank you! :thumb:

EDIT: PLEASE NOTE, I HAVE ECLIPSE TAIL LIGHTS!

Ohhhhh I'm so sorry! :p
I forgot to mention that I have "ECLIPSE TAILS" hehe Maybe that's
why no one is replying to this post!

Anyone?

As for you "nolragan" ... I know someone that is willing to paint their Talon tails and I also have some pics of them red... email me if interested to know more: [email protected]

A body shop should do it for about $50 or less. Then you wouldn't have to worry about it and you know it'd come out perfect.

Just wetsand it with a fine grit sandpaper, then use automotive primer on it (can get anywhere, even walmart), then go to an auto body shop and ask where they get their paint from. Go to taht business and have them mix you up a spray can of your paint code.

Ai Ai Ai, Mami... People just love my car don't they?
If Ya'll are so worried, why dont you come down here and paint
it for me huh?

He's got a point.

Why didn't you just wait to install your kit until you had the money to also paint it:confused:

I have the money, but the thing is... My kit is in bad condition, it needs a lot of work and my hook up got busted for stealing!
I mean I'm not gonna wait on his ass to get out but, I can't find anyone who won't stuck a knife on me...
FYI, last shop I went quoted me $2,000
But I'm seeing this guy with a Yellow DSM this weekend and see wasup...

thanks, man I was wondering because i tried pulling at it and it seemed to be snapped in extremely well and wasn't sure and didn't want to break the panel:thumb:

I don't think it's rice at all. After I did mine I fell in love all over again.

okay i have a 97 gsx with that odd
'grey pearlescent' color that shines slightly blue when hit and is a gray at night and an odd light purple/grey/brown during the day. The thing is, i want a perfect match and the dealership doesn't sell OEM paint. paint shop can't exactly match that two tone ness and body shops will do half ass jobs and it wont match completely and look right. any other suggestions? this is a bizarre color and i want it PERFECT!
thanks

i bought oem touch up paint from my mitsu dealer...they should be able to sell you paint....then just take the paint bottle and the paint code on it and take it to a paint shop....they should be able to match it for you with the correct paint code
