Very freaky and scary stutter.

I had loaned out my MBC to my friend because I don't drive the Dizzum very often. So I got it back today and after installing it and adjusting it accordingly, I took it out for a quick pull around the deserted circle track of road I live on. After hitting full boost the car suddenly bucked, it felt like I downshifted from 4th to 1st. It bucked so hard it made my seat belt lock up! Then it did just fine, no more bucking or jerking, I did take it very easy on the way home though. I checked everything and nothing is out of place, and my MBC is set to almost the lowest setting! What could it be?

The easy things to check for: make sure its hooked up properly, and counter clockwise takes boost away.

What PSI did you hit?

I know that counter-clockwise is less boost, 5 psi. It wasn't fuel cut if that's what your thinking. It felt like somebody rear ended me. Yes it's hooked up right, I have it run from compressor housing to actuator nipple.

Thats funny, on my turbo xs mbc, counter clockwise ads boost.

I defiantly installed it right, it is mine I only had it loaned out. Clockwise adds boost on this one, it's an NXS(yes Ebay) But people do really well with this MBC I had it on 14 when I ran my best time. I don't think it's something with the controller itself per say.

Yessir, with a few other mods, and some DOT approved slicks. It doesn't take much to dip into the 14's a good launch and no wheel hop got me that.

Its not the 14 that impresses me its the near 100 mph trap, especially if your mod list is current.

It's current, I do have 560 injectors. And all poly bushings and motor mount inserts.

Back on subject, it sure sounds like fuel cut. Did you do a a BLT?

I've never experienced a fuel cut so severe as that in my my 4 years of tuning. Maybe I have developed a massive and I mean MASSIVE leak besides the leaky #3 injector. Does our dsm's experience such a hard core fuel cut as that? I know I have hit it in my camaro tons of times while tuning and it never felt like that.

In my car the best way to describe fuel cut would be, slamming on the brake pedal while holding down the accelerator. Yes it is quite violent.

Oh wow seriously, that's pretty bad compared to other cars I have experienced it in, then again this is the only forced induction I have ever had, thanks. I'll go boost leak test it right now.

Maybe somehow your buddy messed up the hose's..Did you give them a thourough inspection it could have a pin hole somewhere in there from the swap..But a BLT would definatly help.

I only lent him the tester and 0 hoses. I pulled the ball and spring out and they are flawless, he was only running 22 psi...The thing is rated at 30.

I;'m on my iPod now, so I'll make this short. My system WONT HOLD ANY pressure. It leaks right away and it isn't just a small injector seal, wtf is up...It's getting dark and I have plans tonight so I'm just going to drive the Camaro instead. But all these leaks seriously need to go away. I just fixed my tb and every other leak last week, which was 4 of them....

Pressurize and listen for where the air is coming from.

I did, I'm pretty sure my intake manifold to head gasket is blown. I heard all the air escaping is coming from underneath of it. I also ran some seafoam figuring that if it was after the throttle body the smoke would show me, well it did. Tons poured out from underneath the intake manifold. I also learned I have TONS of exhaust leaks. I'm really getting tired of all this shit!

Rip it completely apart and do it 100% right the first time, locking nuts, threadlocker, good gaskets, etc. Then you won't have problems down the road.

Oh trust I never half ass anything on my car. I haven't touched the inatke manifold on this car yet. I have only had it since January. I was wanting to have a better flowing intake anyways, I'll just wait until I can order one.

Get the evo3 manifold(port it) and 60 mm tb....Or just port it and add the 60 mm anyway..

^0mm is already on the parts list I have made up. I just ordered a re-sealed 60mm from this site last week I'm waiting for it to come in
