Venom NRG Catch can!!!!

The function of this catch can is to catch oil, that goes from my valve cover to my intake tube, and the can is half filled with steel wool that was pulled apart and stuffed in to the can. One inlet has a tube that goes into the bottom of the can that goes to the pcv and the other has no tube and goes to the intake.

...and the can is half filled with steel wool that was pulled apart and stuffed in to the can.

So what keeps the tiny strands of steel wool from getting sucked into the turbo?

One inlet has a tube that goes into the bottom of the can that goes to the pcv and the other has no tube and goes to the intake.

What does "that goes to the pcv" mean?

There is no turbo, and I apologize, for my communication, one inlet goes to the pcv valve and the other goes to the inlet on the side of the valve cover. I will be installing a breather on to the can. The steel wool is not pulled apart enough to cause any harm just enough to decompress the steel wool and expand the surface area.

Ok so what should I use as a baffle, instead of the steel wool? I have seen applications, where a thin piece of aluminum is used, the piece of aluminum is shaped like /\/\/ with slits cut out.

Based on this:

I'm not poor just cheap.

Just rinse out the steel wool (with something other than water), and stick with that. It may work fine, or it may disintegrate, get sucked into your intake, and ruin your motor. That's one of the risks you run when being cheap instead of doing something the correct way. LOL

looks pretty cool. Not too sure about the steel wool but I suppose once oil gets on it and kind of soaks it down I doubt there will be much "dust" to be sucked into the intake.
I do however know Ill be "creating" an account at citizens bank using a "certain" card number! LOL just kidding
