on ebay theres a company that does shipping for people that buy cars off the internet, i would try them out, or a search engine. goodluck.

Just do a search on google. I found a company called SeaRail to ship my car from Conneticuit to Alberta Canada for $1500 CAN. If was the cheapest by quite a bit but they cause a huge hassle. It took over a month to get the car here and when it arrived parts were missing and there was new body damage. I am filling a claim with them right now so we will have wait to see what happens.

I looked it up one time because I was looking at a GSX in WA. I live in TX. I emailed about 5 companies, and the lowest quote I got was ~$800.

My reccomendation, make the guy that bought the car arrange for shipping... it's going to be close to $1000, depending on the company, and the running condition of the car... but it's still pricy...

If you dont get any of the extra goodies (top load, door-to-door, ect.) You can do it fairly reasonably.

hey hey first time posting here but i did mine from philli to salt lake city it was like 1200 miles and it was only 800 go to www.movecars.com and start calling i got a bunch of quots from 1500-800 so if u look around u will find a good deal good luck

I am from PA and im buying a 92 AWD from Rob- GST STREETRACER in Miami Florida. I am hoping there are people that have done something like this and have some advice on shipping,payment and how not to get screwed. All the car needs is a Turbo because it is blown. Has a rebuilt motor and some mods etc. The only shipper I have checked out was DAS auto shippers off eBay and they want about $800. What should I do to protect myself in case I get the car and it has more problems then he stated. If anyone knows a better shipping company or can tell me steps to stay safe please post. Thanks

Have someone that lives by him, Go check the car out for you. Buying a car without seeing it in person is the worst thing anyone could ever do.

Your willing to pay $800 shipping for a car with a blown turbo? There has to be a car closer to you. That $800 would go a LONG way in all the routine maintenace and upgrades.

That is a big chunk of money to add into the cost of the car and not get anything out of it.

But anyway... an open trailer will be the cheapest. Request that the car is NOT up front. Have the current owner take DETAILED pics of the car as it is loaded. Compare the car to the pics when you get it. If there are ANY issues, call the shipping company before the driver leaves.
