Best way to transport vehicle

Im getting ready to take my DSM, new motor, and a few goodies to Pina Motorsports to install my motor. Im trying to think of the cheapest and best way to transport everything about 100 miles away, and all i have for a vehicle is a 90' Pathfinder.

You're AWD, right? If so flatatbed is your only option whether that would be a flatbed truck or a flatbed trailer unless you want to risk ruining drive train parts.

flatbed or 18 wheeler, thats how I got my car to Illinois from Connecticut.

Go rent a car dolly from u-haul.

I brought mine from Wisconsin to Indy on one of the trailers from U-Haul. As for the motor I'm not sure where it would go, maybe in the back of your SUV.

Its FWD, i was thinking about a dolly but aren't you supposed not go over like 45mph?? I cramed my engine in the back once and holy $hit was that a biotch to get in and out.

the stupid dolly's say that on them, but i go 65 with a dolly. in indiana, the speed limit for trailers is 65 mph.

Uhaul will not rent you a Dolly for our cars. Our cars even stock are too low to the ground for a dolly according to Uhaul and some other moving companies. They will only rent you a car trailer.

personally i wouldn't mess around with dollys, i just don't think they're that safe to begin with. a nice car trailer will work great for you. and then put all your parts in the back of the pickup box you use to pull it with.

tow it on a flat bed your pathfinder should handle it just fine, unless its running condition is poor then maybe not

hmmmm, well im taking it tomorrow morning and i couldnt get ahold of a flatbed from a friend, so im gonna take my chances with a dolly . I hate doing stuff like this on short notice of the shop having an opening for my car, plus im really ancy to get my talon goin again, its been down a whole year! wish me luck guys, i'll post up pics of the project when i get it back

Don't tell them you're towing an Eclipse. Tell them you're towing a civic.
