OK so maybe almost a year ago I replaced my thermostat. When I refilled it it leaked so I took it all out....redid it again...let it all sit for 24 hours..and no problems. I drained all my fluid out for this...and of course refilled it all with better. Several times after I got my coolant light on (this was all within about a week) and would go and top it off. I attributed this to just refilling/pockets in radiator. So about every month or so my light would come on. At the block...when you pop the cap the level was full but the overflow was always empty. Now its happening more and more....maybe once every two weeks.

I placed cardboard under teh car to check for overnight leaks.......notta. THe oil is still clear so its not mixing into the oil through the head and I dont have fluid out the tailpipe. Occasionally the car will just kinda throttle lock on me...and its like going from first to fifth with WOT making no difference. Push in the clutch and it stays like that and then will suddenly come out of it and go back to normal.

Anyone have any ideas or places I can check???

Get the car up to operating temps, then do a pressure test on the coolant system...there is a good possibility that the coolant leak is on the radiator, but it burn's off too quickly to see leak's, and when you let it sit, the coolant molecules become more dense so they don't go out of the possible holes in the radiator.
