1G Valve Seats Proud of Casting

I have a 6 bolt head that has most of the valve seats sticking partially out of the casting. I know the heads sometimes come like this. This is the worst one I have seen before tho. Most of several the seats need to be replaced but they're still going to stick out.

Question is. Has anyone ever had seats sticking out this badly before and did it cause any issues? 2 things that I am concerned about is

1. The sharp edges becoming hotspots causing detonation

2. The valve transfers a lot of it's heat out of itself thru the seat and the seat transfers that heat into the head so with less area contacting the head the seat cannot dissipate heat as efficiently and possibly would cause burned valves?

Hopefully a bunch of you have ran heads like this with no issues but I wanted to check before installing bronze guides and then paying to have new seats installed and cut

Those didn't come factory like that, those have been jacked with by someone or that head has gotten super hot, having them replaced is the best thing you can do, if they need to they can bore the pockets deeper but I wouldn't imagine they will have to.

Never ever seen seats like that. Looks like that head got botched.

It's definitely the worst I have seen. If it was botched it was botched at the factory. I put a couple valves back in and measured the installed height and am getting the same as on another head that has the seats sitting below the casting so I'm thinking that having the pockets bored deeper is going to cause issues, I suppose valve spring shims could fix the spring pressure loss that would result but the rocker geometry will be off then, not sure if it would be far enough off to cause an issue tho.

Nobody has ever ran into this before?

There actually are Chinese knockoffs of the 4g63 head, it could be one of those, or even a cheap Hyundai version or something, in any event its not pretty for a performance head. I can't find the Chinese 4g63 heads now but they were all over Ebay a few years ago, they were similar to this:
