Valve Differences?

Well I just took the head off my 7 bolt only to find out that I blew the headgasket and bent 2 valves. I have a freshly rebuilt 6 bolt head just sitting around and was curious if the valves and valve seals from the 6 bolt head could be put into my 7 bolt head? Thanks in advance.

Valves can be swapped but you will probably ruin the seals when removing the. You can buy new seals at your local parts house for less than $4/ea.

Good point. I just noticed that it is a 1g 7bolt so the 6 bolt head is a direct replacement with no other mods needed.

yea i just found that out a couple days ago so i will be using the 6 bolt head.
