I have a 98 GST, currently about to install FMIC, the piping i got from a friend already has flange for HKS by pass valve with it on it. Is ok to run? what is the differences between BOV's and by-pass valves? I have stock turbo and plan on raising the boost a little bit also. Please help!!!! :dsm:

They're the same.

Some people say that recirculated blow off valves are bypass valves since they don't really "blow off."

They all perform the same function.
