Keep your BOV recirculated to the intake.

Blowing off to the atmostphere makes noise and impresses people who don't know better but screws up your air fuel ratio. The MAS(Mass Air-Flow Sensor) reads the volume of air flowing into the intake. Then matches fuel flow to achieve a balance that results in complete combustion of the fuel injected.

When you vent you let a bunch of air out of the system that the ECU doesn't know is gone. The ECU keeps matching fuel flow to the air it thinks it has causing you to run very rich. This robs power, causes stumbling, and takes away the other small benefit of recirculating which is that it reroutes air that would have been wasted right into the turbo and keeps it spooled between shifts.

BTW this is all covered in depth in the archives, use the search before posting.

first off make sure you don't have any boost leaks i.e. where the GReddy adapter goes into the factory piping (you did use the rubber boot from the OEM BOV right?) and make sure the gasket's not leaking. I've heard of people getting cheap adapters where the flange is warped. Next, this is what you'll need on a type RS to recirculate it back into your intake tract eBay Motors: GREDDY 32MM RECIRCULATION ADAPTER - RS BOV ATTATCHMENT (item 180035359553 end time May-21-09 08:04:38 PDT)
If you really want a stock one back I have one, all you have to pay is shipping. PM me if your interested. Also take PC5505's advice and use the search. You won't always find what you need but 90% of what you need to know is in there somewhere. Good luck:thumb:.
