Anybody running a valve cover without baffles? I just purchased one but it only has baffles for the added fittings for catch can

Since you only really have to worry about the area near the AN fittings, couldn't OP just have someone weld in a couple extra flat sections to close up a few of the larger gaps? Could be more cost efficient. No sense putting baffles in nearer the oil fill port, I would think.
