So i got this valve cover in GREAT condition, just it's missing the breather tube. It's not broken off in there it's just gone. Any idea's what i can replace this with? I went to the salvage to find one to try and pry out but didn't see any

I'm assuming i can just jb weld in a hollow tube and be fine? pending i can find one that fits

Maybe I won't be back to answer this any time soon, but the next guy who tries will want to know: Do you mean the rubber hose, or the metal nipple? In the valve cover, or in the intake hose? The one that goes from the left side of the VC, to the intake hose, or the one that goes from the back of the VC into the intake manifold? There are two hoses, so four nipples. They should all be hooked-up, or at the very least you've got a vacuum leak.

the metal nipple from the valve cover. i know it will function w/o it fine but i'd rather run a hose to my catch can so i don't have oil all over the place.

Yeah, if you don't mind a string of black snot down the side of your engine, just leave it out.

You'll do fine to JB Weld a piece of tubing in. If you want to do it right, pony up the bucks to have a shop tack a piece of aluminum tubing in, which will cost about twice that of a good used cover.
