went out to start my car today and it was running like crap i could barley drive and the idle is going bonkers as well as the vacuum meter its bouncing from 20 to 10 constantly and when i drive it wont go in to boost just stays at 0, ive checked all the major connections i.e upper and lower icp, pcv system is good, everything seems fine on the intake-pipe, turbo spins freely and there's no play in the housing so i know its not stuck. So it leading me to believe there is a major vacuum leak but i cant pin point it, i stil gotta check my bov, im attaching a video so maybe you guys can see whats going on and know the problem

if you need more let me know thanks guys

You should probably let everyone know it was your blow off valve so they don't keep tryin to guess why the problem was. Are we still messing with your car on Sunday? I know Allen is tryin to do his turbo swap real soon since his is smokin at idle pretty bad.

Well the bov didn't work since I drove it around for a couple min and the problems came back so I'm thinking there's more to but I'm going to see if I can get off

So messing with the BOV helped shortly. I'd check the general area and all hoses and pipes to and from that.

I had a similar issue when I picked up my Talon. Turned out the previous owner had rearranged all the vacuum lines incorrectly. Corrected the vacuum lines according to the new and improved vacuum line diagram and now no issues.

at 0:15 in the video, right after you say "everything seems to be connected" you can pause the video and see that your MAF is not plugged in. fix that and get back to us. :)

Yeah I plugged that back in and tightened down the screw to the bov it seemed to work I was rev'd it and ran the car throe the gears all seemed to be fine then I took it around the block and after five mins it started back up again. I also wanna say that I checked my mass out and its working properly

They were all check yesterday with soapy water.

Checking the pipes with soapy water only works if you're able to put a positive charge in your pipes. If you don't have access to the tools to do a boost leak test, then you could use MAS/MAF cleaner and see if it affects the idle. Using the MAS/MAF cleaner will really only point out the major/obvious leaks.
