I posted about this problem a while back and was told it might be the ISC. But then found out it sounds like more of a vacuum leak somewhere. The car dies after being under some boost. Unless I tap the gas a little before that happens. Here is a video of me just reving it to hear the noise. Its like a really high pitched whistle. Please give me yalls input. It'll help alot. Thanks!

my brother's car got the same problem whenever i hit the gas it goes away but when i stop at a red light it sounds like it stalled and that its about to die.

No I dont think it has anything to do with the turbo

Well a boost leak test doesn't just test the turbo for leaks it test's everything from the turbo to the engine. If you suspect a vacuum leak or something like that than do a test. Hell you should do a boost leak test anyway.

Do a Blt. My money is on the bov, my buddies car does the same thing and it's coming from his bov. My car also had a similar sound and it was the tb. None the less a Blt will solve it more than Likely.

+1 on that.I still to this day have a whistle that comes from my bov like that, but not near as intense, its usually when im traveling at steady speed. It sounds like you have a bunch of leaks simotaneously or a couple really bad leaks. When you go into boost, does it flutter and go rich then die?

Visually check all vacuum lines for leaks.

Do a boost leak test. Up to 20 lbs, should take a little bit to finally leak out all air. Use soapy water as well as an air compressor (not a bike pump!).

Fix whatever leaks you find. Report back with video. As you go if you can. So we can spot anything you did wrong during.
