Ok guys, this is really pissing me off. My car has not been running right for quite some time now. Ok this is whats happening. The car is not idling anywhere near right. It sounds like it has some massive cams in it or something. It is only showing about 13-14 hg. of vacuum at idle (isn't it supposed to be 17-22?), boost drops off a little after it pegs and it feels like it has no top end (barely even barks 2nd anymore). Me and my buddy checked visually for leaking hoses, tight connections and so forth and found nothing. But we did hear a whistle coming from the back of the engine. It sounded like it was coming from the intake manifold gasket or the injector o-rings, but I couldn't tell for sure. How can I check these, because I don't wanna pull the intake manifold off (a lot of work and looks like it would be a b*tch) if thats not it. If there is a test for it I would like to try it before I go any farther. This would cause these symptoms right? I logged it and it had no codes and everything else looked ok as far as i could tell. Please help because I got busted by a nearly stock 2g GS-T Saturday and that makes me :barf: .
Thanks guys.
