ECMlink v3 lite not working, very strange

ok i bought dsmlink v3 light in a 92 eprom ecu from a forum member , we installed it in my car (build will be listed below) and it immediately pulls 30 percent fuel back at idle, you can not get the car to run good no matter how you have the global and deadtime set, and the car stalls all the time, and the o2 sensor never oscillates.

Ok so we put my friends ecu in my car which is another 92 eprom with dsm v3 lite and it works fine and all the problems go away. you set the correct global and dead time and it runs great, never stalls, the o2 sensor oscillates, no fuel is pulled. so now we played around, we put my v3 lite chip in 3 different eprom socketed ecus, and everytime the same problems occurred. but my friends chip always works, we even put my friends chip in my ecu and it worked fine. So does it sound like i have a ad v3 lite chip?

I think you have nailed it, sounds like a defected chip to me. How about put that defected chip in your friend ECU and run it in his car? Since you are not the original owner, I am not so sure whether ESM tuning would repair that for you. Good luck man.

but is there such thing as a defected dsmlink chip? i have read of only 1 ever, its always an ecu or user error, but i have covered all bases with this
