I'm trying to decide which turbo to upgrade to. Right now I'm stock. But after I get a little more money, I'm buying everything. I decided I wanted to get everything at once. I dont know why. I just wanted to. I cant decide what turbo I want. I know the easiest to install is the Big28. But the T04B is also supposed to be a "direct" bolt on. Is installing the Evo3 that hard? I'd be doing the work myself, because I cant afford to have someone do it. What would be the cheapest after its all said and done? If I get the Evo3, I need to get the install kit, another $125 extra. If I get the V-trim, I need to get the oil lines..etc...and I have heard about the wastegate actuator hitting the fan, so I would need to replace that. Im pretty sure the Big 28 is just a bigger T25, isnt it? I'm looking for serious numbers. My original plans were 400 AWHP, but I kind of came back to reality. They all seem to be around the same price. WHat turbo would be the cheapest and easiest to install? Good spool up time, hold boost to redline, and what PSI can it hold? And what kind of numbers could I put down with it? Just wondering what your opinions were?

Mods now
KN FPIK filter
GReddy type S BOV
Autometer boost gauge

Future mods
190LPh fuel pump
550 or 650 fuel injectors(which ones?)
dejon tool hard intake pipe
RNR racing 3in turboback exhaust
datalogger
S-AFC 2
upper and lower intercooler piping

Go 660s forsure on the evo3 and v-trim forsure forsure.... I dunno about the t-28 really.
Also dont waste youre time with stock intercooler with hard pipes, you will need a fmic badly, you will heatsoak the crap outta the stock intercooler in 1 run.

T-28 is what you want. Bolts up to stock everything, spools really well, and holds boost.

I think the v-trim is the cheapest out of the 3, And has the most potential. I had one. I think you should get all the supporting mods, Then finally upgrade the turbo. You will most likly run into some problems, Just buying every supporting mod and the turbo, And just throwing everything on all at once. Thats just my experience though.
