Im using a turbo 1g A/T fuel pressure regulator for my 1g fuel rail.

Solved. The 2g SFPR will not fit on a 1g rail. Unless the flange bolt holes are modified.

Solved. In most cases when the Stock FPR fails, it fails to "Keep up" with the flow. The system will run richer.

Solved: A Stock FPR will remain at a 1:1 ratio unless it is over run.

I also have the 1G rail on my 2G, but am using the Aeromotive kit from ImportEvolution. The inside diameter for the adapter plugs are definitely the same, but the bolt locations are different. IIRC the distance between the two mounting bolts for the 2G are a fair amount wider than the 1G - probably a 1/4-to-1/2 inch in total.

You could have an adapter plate for the two flanges made if you wished, but it would be a little bit of work. I didn't have to worry about that because the flanges from the kit were fully adjustable.

Something like this:

And just a little FYI, the base fuel pressure for the 1Gs is 37psi, while the 2Gs are at 43.5psi.

The info on the flange was great, Exactly what I was looking for.

Another questions remains; What usually happens when a stock FPR begins to fail.

Will it fail to remain 1:1 when into boost, Will it lean out or richen the system?

Thanks guys.

Thanks Paul, Thats good to know.

It was good to see your car at this past shoot-out finally.

So to your knowledge a SFPR wount have any issues remaining at a 1:1 ratio over is life?

Also, the 1G turbo AUTOS have a fuel pressure of 43.5psi. It will rise at a rate of 1:1 just like the stock one.

Yes, it was good to finally meet you. And I'm sure me and my car will be there again next year. :)

That all depends on the volume of fuel you force to it. As long as you don't overrun it, it will hold a 1:1 ratio.
