So blew up the 2g in my 97 gst which was stock minus all bolt-ons. Have decided to go with a 1g 6 bolt, wanna keep it a 2.0(stroker+wheel hop=kaboom). What forged internal combinations have you had success with/like. Doing the whole nine yards, pistons, rods, etc. I purchased the Greddy 18g turbo kit a while back, planning on running that for a bit. All info appreciated. Oh yeah, keeping my 2g head, but it's gettin ported and built as well.
While u have the motor apart i would say do forged internals if you have the money. But also heard the 1gen rods and 2g pistons being a great way to go also.
