2G ported with my 16G Evo and blow thru set up, spools up great. Had it for a couple of years really cheap on ebay.

Basically ported 2g manifold wins, because it flows amazingly well for as low as 20 dollars which is how much mine was.

A well ported 2g mani is tough to beat on a budget. The hafe is a nice manifold and i like the wastegate provision. The FPrace mani is a very well designed piece imho. All depends on how much you are looking to spend.

i have a ported 2 g on both my 1g's and love them. one on an ported 18g and one on a ported 17c. Noticed alot quicker spool

Definitely

It all comes down to how much you want to spend. The 2G manifold ported right where it connects to the turbo works great on the 7cm exhaust housing of the Evo3 16G.

If you're still on the stock turbo, I don't think there would be any reason to mess with the manifold.

If you plan on going bigger, it's best to buy better right off the bat. I'm running the FP race with a 14b, lag is almost non-existant, 2500ish for 10lbs, full 16 by 3k. Then in spring I'll be going bigger.

Ebay tubular manifolds crack and fall apart most of the time, but some of the time they work out, buy one and weld a couple extra supports on it and youll have no problem.

2g ported mani is a good upgrade for cheap, or you can go for a evo3 ported if you wish to go a step further. It really all depends on your hp goals. You don't want to buy a manifold and then later on have to buy a better flowing one cause your hp goals require you to upgrade. Buy once and be done with it.

If you are using any tubular manifold be sure you have the bracket on the downpipe which is mounted on the block. Tubular manifolds aren't build for hanging turbo and downpipe on them. thats most time why they crack. heat weakens the material.
I'm using dnp t3 mani which is known to break, but i have no problems.
