420A unknown button?

hey guys, i have a 95 eclipse gs.
I notices yesterday when cleaning.. there is a small black button under the drivers side dash, near the interior light.

am i missing something?

any idea why its there?

probably a alarm bypass button

Most likely going to be an alarm. Get under the cash and trace the wires and see if they go back to a control box.
