Can anyone guess what the white plug is for?

It may go to your parking brake although its hard to tell the orientation of the picture with you zoomed in so far.

Looks to me like it's the clutch safety switch. Stops you from starting the car in gear unless you depress the clutch.

The only single black wire connector I find looking at the circuit diagram is for the cigarette lighter negative.

The parking brake switch is a yellow w/ green wire and the clutch safety switch is two wires, black and green w/ black.

Like eclipse said, it probably goes to the cigarette lighter. I could have swore I ran into the same wire. That particular one should be long enough to be ran through the center console, and you'll see where it plugs into

I was wrong in stating the parking brake as it is indeed green like discussed. Definitely could be the cigarette lighter as its plenty long by the looks of your picture.

Oops, I can't tell the color of the wires. O ws going by the shape of the plug. Probably right about cigarette lighter. Wire is too long for the clutch. Mine is unhooked and doesn't hit the floor. Sorry guys. You know how us old farts are. CRS.
