I may be a newbie to this, but i have over 6 years as ASE certified trainning, now i have a 95 Talon TSI and I have owned it for several years now, highly modified, done by my self, both mechanical and electrical, recently Ive encountered a problem and i have run out of ideas as to what it could be, the car simply wont start, it cranks, its got fuel, its got spark, the timing its spot on. what happens is when i crank it over it gets to a point were it wants to turn over then back fires so to say, then just continues to crank, i have the head mount Cam Angle Sensor and that is on with timing marks as well, I know i have fuel because, 1 i can smell it, 2 the fuel pressure regulator says it is pressurized, i have spark due to the back fire and the Ohm/volt meter. now i thought at first that it could be an electrical issue, thought i might have switched a wire around, and when i went to go look at the ecu pin layout on her, my pin layout is nothing like what i have been looking at. I.E the color to pin layout. Im figuring it its an electrical problem, but i don't know, there isnt a check engine light for me to confirm that it is a sensor gone bad, nor can i confirm that it is a bad wire somewhere. there for i have swallowed my pride and i am asking anyone for any ideas as to what it can possibly, i just need another outside opinion on this matter.

I do not have any electronic aids, will be getting the dsm link at a later time
any help i would greatly appreciate it thank you

Coolant temp sensor is faulty. Its flooding the engine because it thinks its super cold. It's a common problem on DSMs and won't throw a code.
