Where the line attach the the ebrake in the car they are uneven. so the left side takes much longer to engage than the right line. is there a way to adjust this at the the rear caliper?

Yep take the wheel off and there is a hole in the rotor hat that you can slip a flat screwdriver in there and rotate a spanner. I'll see if I can find a pic of it.

In the picture it is the silver piece at the bottom of the picture with the threads on it. What you have to do is flip the center piece with the flat screwdriver to tighten it up or you can loosen the opposite side. I had rebuilt these so yours won't be the same colors but at least you can see what parts are there. :thumb:

Lift rear wheels off ground. In the center console loosen the parking cable adjust nut completely. Pull the rotor disc/drum off and spin the star wheel adjuster until the shoes collapse enough to just get the drum on with them barely touching (drum spins freely). Remember which way you turned star wheel to expand shoes. Then with drum on insert a wide flat bladed screwdriver into hole in rear backing plate so it engages the star wheel teeth. Rotate the star wheel (by prying screwdriver up/down) in proper direction so shoes expand to contact drum solidly while turning drum. Now back it off until shoes intermittently barely touch drum. Repeat for other side. Now tighten parking cable adjust nut until you get 3-5 notches with a force of around 45 lbs. Pull parking brake lever up/down a few times and check brake shoes for intermittent contact when lever is down. Adjust again if necessary.
