ebrake cable

hello dsm gods, I have located the ebrake cables that i need. but they are on a car in the scrapyard. the boss said that i can have them for free if i can get them myself.

question is, can i get to the cables without lifting the car ? and , if so where do i start? the end of the cable is exposed so i can see the start where the handbrake starts.

The cable runs from the ebrake lever in the car and runs under the car and then Y's out to go to each brake. Unfortuantly when i parted my AWD out i just cut these cables.. What is wrong with yours. You might be able to get away with just replacing the cable itself with someextra cable and using ferules(sp) from the home depot...

when i bought the car the ebrake cables were gone for some reason, and now that almost scares me. i got ahold of the 2 side ones and just need the one that ys out. the donor car at he yard is on two tires( maybe a foot high)... thanks for the tip
