Turn signal socket

Hey guys,
I need help well i lost the socket piece of the front side marker and i cant get that piece anywhere i got the bulb but i need the socket the connects to the wire and the bulb.

If anyone has an extra one they would sell or tell me where can i get one thanks guys...

have you tried a junk yard? or a parts store? all you need to know if you go to a parts store its just a matter of what buld style it is. 1157 or 1156? then it's just a socket with leads on it and hard wire it in.

drive up to auto zone they have a socket that will fit. One similar to stock style and the old gm/trailer style with the metal springy type front.

autozone dont have that socket and Ill will try the junkyard oh well

Is the socket not the bulb im looking and there is no number on the socket either i have it in my hand its white

is there two contacts or one? if two then its an 1157 if only one its a 1156 bulb. i was just at autozone my self last night and noticed in the wiring sec next to the fuses and stuff they had a whole bunch of styles

Neither. They're the 168 push-in bulbs. You can find silvered ones that light up yellow.

Ah i see Thanks Defiant!!! life saver. ^^^ Have you used those silver bulbs before? I'm curious on the out put as far as how well it lights up. I know its not a headlight, but i'm just curious if people like them that have them

You can't tell them from stock when they're on.

The socket in that pic is for your turn signal and not your sidemarkers. As Defiant posted above the 168 bulb is a push-in wedge bulb while the turn signal bulbs are a push/twist lock bulb. For some reason I've had to replace my passenger side turn signal socket twice already....

Junk yard that peice! IF I go to U Pull it, at MAXIMUM they will charge me like 25 cents for stuff like that, most of the time they just lemme take them. I have a box full of them. I love to collect spare parts and most everything I have they give me cause its worthless to them.

thats what i've been telling you to get this whole time ha ah frustrated!!! well i figured thats what it was. and they DO have them at a auto parts store just tell them you need a turn signal socket.

you can also go to oriellys and have them pull out the bwd book (huge green binder behind counter) and look in their. Used to do that alot for certain connectors for pre runners and mud trucks.
