That is what I'm thinking. If the crack goes all the way through, the exhaust heat and pressure is going to torch the crack larger and larger, lag will increase greatly and you'll be exposing the engine bay to a crapload of unecessary heat.If they are internal-only cracks, then it's fine to use. As long as it does not go all the way through to the exterior of the housing, then it's OK for now. It will only get worse with more use, though.

You mean aside from the lack of moisture dispersion?Why does no-one believe in exhaust wrap anymore? Wrap that baby up along with your exhaust manifold.

I had one that was a LOT worse. you got a good 100k miles left on that thing!
