I am trying to install my turbo, it's a GT35 turbo and the water line seems to be in the way. I removed the smaller lower one and hit the big one w/ a hammer a few times to give it some more room and the turbo still seems to be too big. I am looking at the left side of the manifold and it's still about 1.2" away from the head.

What else can I do?
Anyone have pics of their setup?

The turbo is a bolt on from Dejon tool. The manifold is the ported one from SBR. The water pipe is no longer the problem, is the bolt that is right below it. The coolant return for the stock turbo.

Are you talking about the one that goes into the block? If so you need a smaller bolt size its 14 x 1.5 x 10 bolt

I have a different turbo but I thought it was the water line as well. If you look their's a banjo bolt on the front of the block and that was my problem. Check if that's what's hitting. I believe that the water line connects their. I had to remove the water line and buy a shorter smaller so my housing would fit. Also clock it a bit maybe one of the " tabs" is hitting if you don't know what I mean I'll show you a pic.

Goodluck

Well, what I did was take out the banjo bolt. I put the bolt on the vise and used a cutting wheel to shorten the length and then filed it out. Worked like a charm. Thanks much guys.

Glad to see you were able to fix this problem...and on a side note, there is no such thing as a turbo thats too big:p
