So I ordered a -4an feed line, a -10an return line, along with some fittings. My problem is the red cap for the -4an fitting seems too big for the ss hose. The main nipple that pushes into the hose looks good though. Should I crimp the red cap down or leave it loose or what?

No issues at all with the -10an fitting...

Well how loose is it? Because it will tighten up quite a bit when you push the blue piece in. And are you sure you have the braided line in far enough?

I was thinking it would expand once the nipple is in, but it is rediculously loose. I can slide the hose in and out of the red cap, no problem. Conversely, the -10an is going to take the normal forceful twisting and whatnot get the hose inside the cap.

The oil feedline kit from extremepsi is teflon, not rubber AN hose, for anyone who searches and sees this.

I picked up some some standard AN hose and verified that the fittings now...fit :)
