Alrighty then.

I believe I've had a turbo seal go out on the 60 trim that was on the car. I thought about replacing the seal itself and saving some money on the cost of the rebuild, but that's way to easy and logical for a DSM.

Instead, I've grown tired of the standard journal bearing 60 trim, and I want to upgrade to something ball bearing. However, at the time I'd like to keep to something that's large, but still remains bolt on to the MHI flanges.

I was looking at the Bullseye Power GT35R on slowboy's site; Slowboy Racing, Inc. :: DSM :: Turbos :: Bullseye-Power :: Ball Bearing Mitsu Bolt On :: BullsEye-Power GT35R

However, I know that there is always someone out there with a little more input than what I've recieved from other places, so I'd like to hear it.

What turbo would you suggest I look into? Only requirements are, that it be MHI bolt on, and ball bearing. Oh, and big. :thumb:

More of a street car. But track on the occasion. It's only a FWD, unfortunately.

But, I do have a Buschur Racing Stage 3 block and head, along with the J&E pistons that Buschur supplies in the blocks. The rest of the mods and engine work you can find in my profile. I don't have the patience to type it all out, haha.

So I'll stick to the 2.0, but with what's done, and the ETS racing intercooler I just ordered, I'd like to shoot for the 600HP area when all is said and done.

Why not just go t3 hotside if you are looking for that kind of power? You could sell your exhaust componets to help pay for the new ones and then make the power easier than with a bolton housing.

Good call, a down pipe for a standard T3 no matter what type of outlet is easy to build, especially if it's externally gated. You could sell your O2 housing, downpipe and manifold and afford a good T3 header/mani and build a DP for under 20 bucks if you can weld, still shouldn't be any more than 50-75 for a simple one from any decent "small sho" the kind that cut deals on little stuff when they're not busy. And, you would probably still have a little left over to throw in on the new turbo too!

What vendors deal with the HTA 3065? I haven't really been able to find anything in any searches, minus a bunch of reviews. All which appear very good, btw.

I just picked up the fp88hta for my stroker, i'll let you know how it works out.

You cannot fit the GT35 wheel into the FP turbine housing. You have the choice of either the GT30 or the GT350.

We had a straight off-the-shelf GT3582R with a .82 Garrett GT housing, unbolted it and swapped on an FP housing machined for the 35r turbine wheel. I'd say it fits fine. FP sells this as the 3565.

I was gonna say...

I think FP can machine their housing to fit the 35r wheel so it should work.

But thats been said already, so this post is kinda usless.

*Hides under a rock*

Those new gt35rHTA turbos would be good for your goals if you can bank roll one.
