We had a straight off-the-shelf GT3582R with a .82 Garrett GT housing, unbolted it and swapped on an FP housing machined for the 35r turbine wheel. I'd say it fits fine. FP sells this as the 3565.

I confirmed what I stated earlier with an ex-employee of FP. While the diameter of the GT35 wheel is the same and wont come in contact with the FP turbine housing, the blades are wider, and stand taller away from the CHRA than the GT30 or GT350 wheels do, so you would be effectively losing "driving" surface area for the turbine because the volute of the FP turbine housing is not wide enough to cause full contact of exhaust onto the GT35 wheel.

So no, I am sorry but the GT35R CHRA, while it might fit inside, would lose efficiency if placed in the FP turbine housing, and would choke on the top end due to the loss in effective turbine surface area.
