can you by-pass the cooling lines on an Ebay 16g? i know you can on the MHI 16g's but was just wondering on the Ebay ones? thank you!

Yes you can, but why delete the coolant lines, it lets the turbo live longer.And why would you run an ebay turbo, they are junk.

i have the turbo off to replace an exhaust gasket and figured why put the coolant lines back on if they're not needed, does it significantly shorten the turbo life removing them?

I have never seen any proven facts that it shortens life, but you may have issues with leaking coolant depending on how you block them off.
