Turbo Play

Hi,

If im not mistaken the stock turbos on the gst's where T25?...i have a problem with my turbo the turbine on the exhaust side has enough play to touch the sides of the housing, the cool side or the intake side has NO play at all, my question is, is there any way to fix this for a little while? or fix it to where its good enough? anything?

unless u have an extra turbo laying around i would replace it there shouldnt be that much play in it . you could even get new seals and gut to the turbo and rebuild it if you can find the parts.

The cost to rebuild a t25 is nothing short of too expensive. For the same amount of money, you could purchase a good conditioned used t25 or even upgrade to a 14b. There really isn't a point of rebuilding a stock turbo, since you can find one for 80 bucks or less.
