Working with a previous owner swapped a 16g and used different bolts where exh. mani. studs should be. Some are stripped out, most are.
What fixes are tried and true?
I know drill/tap works but boring a cast iron exhaust manifold out to fit larger studs doesn't sound fun unless I can sneak one size up on the threads.

Oil return line is leaking horribly. I replaced the gaskets, made my own gaskets and then stripped the bolts. I drilled and tapped, put a couple fatty bolts on the turbo side and it's still dripping.

Any cheap return line kits or can I hack saw the tube and replace with 6-8" of silicone? It feels like the stock return line is not flexing enough and straining the flange enough to leak.

Sorry if it's been asked, done and ranted about. I can't use search functions as I'm not a robot.

Cheap nothing cheap, oem is good, tried and true, stripped bolts for me drill them out use a eazy out, replace with a new one. or retap it find a bolt insert with the head on the outside of the manifold. There isnt much i can think of, leaks are prone to these cars, there are so many discussing problems with the return line, even myself, i just got a new one, so ill be installing it soon.
You cant use search?

sorry, most of the threads inside the head are gone. My exhaust manifold is held on by hopes and dreams!

OEM solution here isn't working, the metal OEM line has inherent stress issues that pull the flange.
What size silicone line could I use? I may go that route. Generally I don't like patching things and would rather replace with a stainless braided line that a hydraulic shop could make for ~$15 but.

Where could i buy turbo oil return flanges with AN fittings? Prices on DSM parts stores online seem horrible.

Thats what youll find the fittings arent cheap, simple, the head maybe trashed then if its all stripped out. The head seems the problem if it pulls the line, fix that first, oem does work, i had one for 6 years no problems, tried other stuff but im sticking with a new one, problems with the manifold will cause problems with the line moving around and become troublesome.
