While under the car I noticed this little gift, some oily residue on the bottom of the compressor side of the turbo. Previously the car was running fine, no smoke, no turbo screech, no smoky exhaust. The axial and longitudinal play seems fine as best I can tell by feeling the intake side. Looking at the top, the oil supply line is a little wet as well. I'm thinking the bottom crud is just collecting from the top, no need to pull the turbo. Any cautionary advice or am I on the right track? How easy is it to pull a 30 year old oil supply line off the turbo to fix the leak? I sure don't want to open a major can of worms here if I don't need to.
Thanks.
