Turbo New / Used?

Wanted to know If anyones put used turbo on their ride and how it did , (mileage, longevity) My 90 fwd is a daily driver only at the moment, so mod's aren't needed for me ....yet.lo Oldman was telling me if I rebuild it need to balance the shaft, and i don't quite now how to do that, but looking for the same input on those who have rebuilt theirs, (mileage, longevity).

It would probably be cheaper to find one off ebay or a junkyard, just check for shaft play (if its from a junkyard of course, doing that over the internet might be tricky). Why do you need a new turbo though, does yours burn oil or have excessive shaft play or anything? If it ain't broke, don't fix it
