turbo blanket info

So i bought an E3 16G and im cleaning it up and making it look nice and i am going to VHT the turbine half but then decided im going to buy a blanket for it aswell to help with heat, i got my eye on the DEI titanium blanket but unsure as to what one i need as its a T3 or T4 selection so does anyone know what fits best for the 16G?

Also my future plans are to run a 20g so if there is one that will do for both then i wont have to buy another, if not then ohwell i guess i have to.

Ive looked at them but ive read funny stories on them deliverys and contacting them is hard, reason i liked the dei unit is my titanium wrap would match it nicely so thats the idea , i couldnt see me with a red or blur blanket haha not as the compressor in going red,

I also just found a thread that ludachris started awhile ago and it says a T3 blanket will fit a fp30 turbo so that should be ok for me then.

Get black then . They are quality blankets, but I do understand where you come from. A t3 will fit, but will be a little big.

If a t3 is a little bigger then that should give me some room for my 20g then right? Dei are good so i dont mind paying higher prices for that stuff, and no on the black

I purchased a PTP turbo blanket from their website earlier this month and waited two weeks without contact. I e-mailed them on a Sunday morning and the blanket was shipped later that day.

I don't know why the delay and I don't know how they got in express USPS on Sunday but it fits up fine.

Thats strange and thats also why i wont buy from them, as im in the UK so i dont want to make calls and waste time chasing items up, i like to order and know its sent,

Ive never had issues, and I purchased 3 of them. One for my 20g, my t4 and t3. As for the 20g, it depends on the hotside, 7cm is the same as the 16g, could have a BEP 8cm, or a t3.

Ok cool so the t3 will be fine then, i dont plan on changing the hotside from a mhi so thats good to know,

Some people do and dont have problems but i wont take the risk

I got my turbo and manifold blankets from Levi at Turbo Performance Products (208) 251-9141. http://www.crdpower.com/ He is a supporting Vendor on here. He can make to order. He made one for my T3 Turbonetics Mani with a cutout for the WG and it was the same cost as the more popular FP one. Excellent communication, great product and reasonable prices.
