HX40 bep .55 turbo Blanket

Well I finally decided to just go ahead and buy a blanket for my Holset. I ordered from PTP and bought the Subaru one in black.


First thing is do not try to contact PTP by PM or by email as they will not respond. The best way to contact them is by phone. They don't have the best online customer service, but what they did do for me was answer my questions by phone and got it shipped to my house in 4 days. They also included extra stainless steel wire just in case.

Clean? That thing looks fugly on there...

Function over form though so nice purchase. You'll be amazed how much they will improve the under-hood temps.

I didn't want to buy blanket, so I made simple heat shield/ wrapping it around the turbine .. Underneath the metal, I used a little material from DIY turbo blanket... My coolant temps went down noticeably...
