i just put a new evo 3 16g on and a tubular header and a tubular o2 dump and i am having trouble tuning it to run about 10 pounds of boost (i have not upgraded the fuel system except for i rewired the fuel pump) so is there a way i can get the turbo to spool up to full 10 pounds of boost at like 4000 rpms. i heard i should tune the waste gate without my mbc hooked up then hook up my mbc and finish fine tuning it. right now i spool full boost at like 5k and i hit fuel cut at 15 pounds of boost. i know i need to get stuff like fuel pump, injectors, fmic, and fuel management, but i am on a budget and have to do things one step at a time. and the new turbo tubular manifold, o2 dump and all the hardware and gaskets was only 600 bucks so i chose to buy that first.
P.S. is there a way to turn down the boost on a stock 14b on a 95gst without using a mbc. if the waste gate doesn't have a screw in/out arm on it?
