ok i bought an 90 talon tsi awd that has a evo 3 16g turbo on it and i was wondering how much whp can these turbos put down, also how much boost can they hold?

SBR put down 400whp with one. This however is exceedingly difficult for the ameture to accomplish. 300-330 whp is common for most.

How much boost they can hold is determined by how much air your engine can flow. A stock long block (stock cams, intake mani, bore, stroke) will maintain more boost than a 2.4 stroker with FP3X cams reving to 9000 rpms. However, these other aspects are needed to get 400 whp out of this turbo. This is what SBR used to get 400whp.

In all they are great turbos that flow tremendously well for such a quick spool being that they are not ball bearing.

The 16G is probably THE most popular, and commonly used turbo in the DSM world. There is an immense amount of information on the forum about them. Please search before you post.
