2.o non turbo 2nd generation manual transmission. Inside the bell housing where the input shaft is what is the roller bearing on the back side of the input shaft cause I opened it up and and it's on the bell housing let me no what it is and where is the input shaft bearing located,pilot bearing

Sounds like ur talking about the throughout bearing and the pilot bearing is located behind the clutch plate in the center of the flywheel

I may be wrong, but... I don't think the crank has a pilot bearing for a standard, the auto's do though. Now I have a turbo car but my son's 97 Talon has a pilot bearing for his auto trans. My '90 has no pilot bearing and its a standard. MTC

It's in the transfer case side and it sits in the bell housing where the input shaft goes it's a roller bearing but what is it is no throw out bearing

The only thing that should be in the bell housing is the flywheel clutch pressure plate clutch release bearing and clutch release fork "looking at the Chilton mitsubishi eclipse 1990-98 repair manual"
