Hello All,
I'm brand new to DSM's or tuners of any sort so please forgive me if I ask stupid questions. I just picked up a '97 Eclipse Spyder GS and she is stuck in limp mode. I know the TCM controls the limp mode and I've read that even something as simple as screwed up info from the TPS can cause limp mode.....but my question is, how would a guy go about testing the TCM to see if it is the issue, or is that even possible?
The car is going into my garage as soon as my snowblower/tractor overhaul is done and is getting a full refresh but transmissions and their controllers are all new to me.
Thanks in advance.
